Observational Drawing
Drawing from observation is important, as this shows that you are considering your subject and actually looking at it. This means that you are not just recalling it from memory
You will see things whilst undertaking observational that you will not have about whilst working from your own memory. Observational drawing will also help you to get angles correct and the process of looking can help with your drawing skills.
Consider:
What can you draw from observation - if you cannot get to your subject, what could you draw instead so that you have primary observations in your sketchbook?
Drawing from secondary sources (i.e. photos) is fine as well, but observational drawing will be key to your project.
